Wow, the detail on the feathers are perfect here. Love the background. Very well done from me!

I like the wing and feet position and the overall image quality. On the fence about the shoreline intersecting the bill.

Another killer shot Dumay. angle, light, pose, BG, IQ...ticks all the boxes IMO. Best part is the wing-tip-to-wing-tip DOF coverage.

    Hey Dumay,
Outstanding wing angle and pose! This all works for me!

Excellent IQ here mate, and I like the how the head is separated from the wings. Good feather detail and flying against another good Mankwe BG.

Excellent image. Sharpness, exposure, pose, comp...all looks great. I'm with Mike about the shoreline, but certainly not a deal-breaker.

Thanks for the comments guys. The dark patch is actually patches of different colors in the water, not sure what is the cause. I never really noticed it before (in the image I mean), but hope the separation from the BG is enough not to detract.

I love the DOF that shows the bird perfectly from wingtip to wingtip. Light is nice. I am OK with the BG but would prefer his head be firmly in the blue layer
