Default Greetings from 15 Year old Photographer Wynand van Wyk

    Hi everyone

My name is 15 year old Avian and Wildlife Photographer Wynand van Wyk from South Africa. I have been capturing images from a very young age, but only started to really get into it about 3 years ago. I got my own Canon 40D and 100-400mm lens from a friend on another photography community at that time, which gave me the chance to pursue this amazing art.

Since then I have been published in numerous magazines, including BBC Wildlife, BBC Knowledge, Practical Photography, Natures Best Students and other South African travel magazines.

I am honored to be part of this community and very eager to learn more from the fantastic photographers here.

I will do my best to be part of the community and share comments and input on your photographs.

Thank you to Morkel Erasmus for helping me get registered and settled.

    Thanks so much and greetings
    Wynand

Apologies, a little late to this welcoming thread Wynand, but from your first posting, couple with your opening introduction, I am very impressed and based on your wishes, aspirations and joining here with Morkels help, you have a great platform to expand your photographic skills and hopefully become a well rounded photographer, in all senses of the word, as it not just being technical.

I can only echo Romans words, the more you participate, the more you will get out of the Forum and never be afraid to ask, as we are ALL, constantly learning.

    I wish you well.
