    Default Baya Weaver (Male)

This is from my recent trip to Ranthambhore National Park. I had an amazing session with Baya weavers there.

    Camera Canon EOS 7D
    Exposure 1/2500 sec
    Aperture f/7.1
    Focal Length 400 mm

    This is almost full frame.

Hi Munish, Like the pose and composition but for me the image has a few IQ issues that are hurting it. The main issue for me is that subject is not sharp as presented not sure if another round of sharpening would help or if the file is soft out of the camera. Also the yellows on the crown of the head are blown making them to bright and lacking detail and finally the BG is showing to much noise and has areas of posterization.

The image sems to be suffering from resizing compression artefacts - this could be the softness issue. Good pose, very whimsical. Comp looks good. The light angle did not help you...flash would have helped here. Brighter yellows also look oversaturated.

    Keep them coming!

Agree with Don and Daniel on the yellows and the oversaturation . If this is alomost FF , I am sure you can reprocess it to its full potential .esp since the light and the compo is brilliant !!

    Hey Munish,
I agree with the comments above but believe this one is worth revisitng in PP'ing if it is sharp!
