Different conditions this morning as I has ear;y sun above but a light fog along the water.
Does this work for you?

Awesome light and perfect HA! I love the green water. If mine I'd eliminate the specks in the water, and I'd love more canvas right and bottom.
This is an awesome shot!!! Fantastic techs and great light, colours and mood captured!! Agree about more room right and bottom.
Missed the specs completely...thanks for the heads up :)
Will do it up with the crop suggestions incorporated this evening.
Ofer....love the member pic!
Oh yeah, this works. Love the colors, especially the sheen that you've got on his head. Recompose and you've got a real beauty here, Jim.
This is wonderful Agree with the comp suggestions but still a lovely shot.

Lovely light, sharpness and posture. I would prefer slightly more canvass behind the bird.
Jim:
Good comments above, agree about crop.
Great light, showing off the sheen/colors of head, and of course the magical eye.
I was struck by the somewhat dingy looking whites. Don't think it is just color temp or exposure.
Did the bird seem a bit "dirty" in person? Sounds silly for a diving bird, always in the water, but the whites just seem a bit unusual. Always trying to learn more about the loons.
Cheers
Randy
