The wood ducks continue to hang around

what looks like a dark shadow on the wing is actually the right wings backside it is lined up just right to blend with the drakes left wing

Nice wing flap and eye contact, just a bit tight in the frame for my taste.

Superb action shot. The detail is exquisite. It may be a bit tight in the frame.

This is superb... Great action, detail, color... Would agree it could use some room at least on the right side an bottom.

    Lovely image!

Nice image, John. The feather detail, especially on the underwing is beautiful.

Beautiful capture with wonderful color and detail and I particularly love the BG in this image as it sets the wooduck off so well. I do agree with Axel that it is a bit tight in the frame and a little more canvas to the left and on the bottom would enhance this already magnificent capture. Thanks for sharing John.

Very nice, perfect head angle. Great light and wing positon. You needed to use the HZ (human zoom) by stepping back before the flap...

    later and love, artie
