    Default Alaskan Sunset- Sensory overload

I just liked Judy's image and title, and this is overloaded with the sunset, so I chose the title.
Not a lot of things, PB oil paint, some layer work with the decreasing frames, the over-sharpening I am beginning to understand. and I added the three birds ( actually painted them in.)

Just wanted to improve the image and I am not sure if I did. Essentially the saturation brush with saturate and desaturate on the dark areas.

Steve, I like your vision for this and the PB treatment looks nice and painterly. I wonder if a few less boxes would "free up" the image a little? Just my thoughts. It must have been an amazing sight to see in person.

Hi Steve, I like the look of the original post better, but I'm not sure that all the framing helps the image much. I think it would work better if the frames didn't merge into the lower part of the image so much and I would probably offset the center of the frames a bit more from the center of the image. I love the treatment of the sky, really fantastic!

I agree, the 3D effect is cool, Steve! Like your idea, very creative, and it is kind of intense to look at!

This really looks like molten rock from the centre of the earth. The filters have worked really nicely on the sunset. Agree on framing comments. Nicely done.
