    I captured this image of a female leopard earlier this year in Sabi Sands. She was stalking some impala but failed to make the kill.

    Yes, great to see you hear. I like the crop and the image design and wish only that the animal were looking a bit more towards us.

    Good to see you posting here again Chris...gorgeous light and I like the pose. Not too sure about the crop personally - how about going in a tad tighter from left and bottom, still keeping the pano (almost 6x17??) feel?

    Light is very nice as others have noted. I like how she's emerging from the darker "path" in the grass.

    Nice shot. I don't see any problem with the fact the animal is not looking at us as it is looking at the impala...
    I don't feel there is a need for such a long pano - would crop some off the right.
    Some selective brightening on the face would be great IMO. Here is a quick repost with what I have in mind.

    Chris,

    Wonderful image cropped both ways. The backlight puts this over the top, adding greatly to the dimensional quality of the image.
    I think the head position is fine as taken.
