Killer chick, Allan. The only thing I wish is that the chick were not placed in the middle of the comp. If you have more room, I would put the rest of the vegetation on the right and keep him in the left. I think that would also add to the overall scene and make him look as small as he really is. Don't really know without seeing the original.

    Cute!

I kinda like the crop and positioning of the chick as the left sweeping blade of grass balances it.

Did you try and clone out some grass blades in the right front corner perhaps?

Allan, I think due to the curve of the grass, and not wanting to cut off the end, the central placement of the chicks works just fine as is. I do follow Marina's thinking too. How are those little legs.

    Hi Allan,
I love the arch that the blade makes over the chick. I see some artifacts to the right and left of bird. I would have another go at the PP to blend the BG better.
Agree with moving chick to the left if you can,
    Gail

    Allan,

The chick is too cute. I do agree with Marina's placement issue.

Way too cute! The comp works for me as presented. LRC is a bit funky. Beautiful capture.

Very cute...Good exp i like the thought of adding in the whole plant which would cahnge the comp but still looks pretty good as presented.

    Great cuteness factor!

Grass works very well here ... agree that more might be even better.

I'm seeing a bit of a green cast in a strip of the sand to the immediate left of the bird.

Very cute, and I like the arch! I like Marina's thinking...just adding enough at right to bring the image to a 3:2 ratio should be enough. Not sure what happened between the chick and left edge...shadow looks odd too with green in it.
