    This is a nice capture by you and the heron... Perhaps the composition may have been stronger if you shot this as a vertical instead of horizontal? You would have then been able to create an image containing the full reflection of this beautiful bird. As it is, I might suggest cropping some of the grass off the right side, although I guess it does add some depth to the image, so it's a tough call.

    Excellent exposure in this image as tricolors can be difficult to photograph and expose. I agree about shooting it vertically to get the lovely reflection.

    Hi there,

    It looks like you were standing right next to me :)

    Getting a Tri dancing is no easy task, so going for the vertical may be overkill and render frustrating.
    Since the reflection is not complete, I would crop to the ankle (what would be our knee)

    Good job on the exposure and I like the leaves on top as framing!
