    Stuart,
I always like a picture that makes me smile. I like the grey tones carried throughout the BG and bird. I wonder what this would look like as a vertical or square comp as I am finding the empty space on the right a bit overwhelming.
IQ is excellent and I like the light,
    Gail

    Stuart,
Add a bit more canvas on top and this would be superb. The beak and eye would then lead the eye to the RHC of frame. Love it,
    Gail

Excellent pose, I love that we can see both eyes. Very sharp as posted. I don't mind the space at right (although a bit less there would be great), but I would definitely like less at bottom and more above. As with Gail, I like tyhe grey tones throughout. Well doone

Beautiful grey feather detail throughout the whole bird, I love it. Both eyes is a rare find in this pose, at least for me. I do prefer the tighter crop.

    Hi Stuart,
Love those eyes! Wonderful image with nice tones and detail. I agree with Daniel on the cropping suggestion. Very nice...

Ditto the new crop, but like the first one as well. The pose and detail is superb! Very well done from me.

Well, I guess the upside-down HA is not covered in the HA Statute. :) I am sure I do not have patience enought to wait for this HA in my images, but I like it, especially those eyes. The detail, colors and IQ are to die for, but the crop needs something. The vertical looks too tight to me, so perhaps the original with a little less on the right and bottom, as has been suggested. Thanks for sharing.
