Thanks Harshad.... I did an 'oops' and hadn't sharpened my first web version of this image. I just updated it since I just posted it - hope it looks better now.

Like the head on view with the slight head turn. Also like the tongue sticking out and the ears being inside the body outline.

Excellent angle you have here, like the bg a lot too,
    Good unusual bear shot.

    Hi JoHN

Lovely bear portrait , really like the low angle, hope you do not mind me working on the image, lust needed to tone the light areas in BKG and on the bear...i also added a little vibrance and small amount of sharpening to face.. all quite subtle..

Peter's reworking/toning down the highlights has worked well, great low perspective with tongue poke a bonus.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Peter - I appreciate you taking the time to rework the image... I'll definitely look at toning down some things on the master file. Your help is appreciated!

Love the perspective, light and IQ here John! Peter's repost has addressed my main concerns with your OP (I am seeing the post-Harshad's-comment-sharpened version, right?).

The tongue is a nice touch...

Looks like you had a good time last weekend!

Great low angle and color. Nice detail around the eyes as well.

John - POV and tongue sticking out make this a special YNP image. Peter's repost takes it up a notch.

    Rachel
