Super cute running pose....accentuated by the kicked up sand. I've been up since 4 am and my eyes are shot, but maybe a bit more sharpening? Love the clean background also.

Lovely up close capture of this running plover. Love the raised foot and the kicked up sand as well. The sand is so nice and clean. I agree on more sharpening to bring out feather detail.

great pose and nice low angle, it is soft as presented however. I also like the micro sand particles that are flying around which shows how fast the chick is running!!

Nice low angle Noelle, and I like the running pose with the flying sand. Good complimentary colour to the BG too. I agree this seems a touch soft compared to your usual standards.

I wish the back foot was showing more, the repost looks better. Lets call him stubby

Lovely one, Noelle. Terrific clean BG, running pose, flying sand. Good repost. The image seems decidedly on the warm side.

Good capture of the plover while it was running. Kicked up sand adds to feel of motion.

    Thanks Denise,

I knew I should have sprayed you down with calamine before you left

I had a wonderful time and we will certainly make plans to get together again when I come back from my trips.

Repost looks sharper - a good image ... but I too have some reservations re colour temperature.
