Hi all, not to much times in the past weeks for posting but I would like to say hello in the european forum and I will try to post here more often. This photograph is from a very bad weather day with poor light conditions. Fortunately, after a long waiting for good shooting opportunities the sun appeared and this beauty decided to take care of its feathers under the sunshine. This guy was photographed from a permanet blind (observatory) on a pond in a protected area in the South of Spain. Your comments and suggestions are highly appreciated

    Very nice image. Very exotic.
Do you have many breeding pairs there?

Woohoo! Great image Juan! Was there any flash involved in the making of that image?

    Best,

Szimi this is a common species here in Spain with very healthy population and not difficult to find. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful duck species in Europe :)

Sven thanks for your kind comment. No flash here, only natural light.
