    Hi Art.

I'm usually a fan of the simple, elegant image but for some reason this one doesn't do it for me. It think it is likely because the perch is so large compared to the owl. Maybe a tighter view?

    Art,

Perch is OK and the owl has a great looking expression on him. I would recrop to a Role of Thirds and get the owl into the upper left or right power point.

Hi Art Would move the owl to the lower left corner a bit more and leave it small in frame !!! Will look good !!!

Nice picture, have to agree with the comments above, maybe place the bird on the upper left.
I will also slightly de-saturate the blues is the background.

Art congratulations on creating an image of one of my nemesis (for now) birds. If this is a full frame iamge you have lots of possible cropping options, as suggested, to change/improve the composition. Just experiment.

Congratulations on a fine capture Art. I agree with the above suggestions on cropping as this woiuld make this an even stronger image. What a thrill it must have been to capture this beauty. thanks for sharing.
