excellent pose and beautiful BG, I am not seeing feather details as if too much NR was applied.

would move the bird lower in the frame.

    great dynamic pose

Yes to more of a pano crop. Accurately focused with a good EXP. I wish that we could see a bit more of the face.

Looks as if you created the eye highlight--it is a bit too large.....

Awesome IF capture, Chad. Very cool pose on this Tern, love the soft BG color, and comp. Think you have a really fine art quality look to this, and agree going for more pano crop will take it over the top!

Love how the bird is in focus, very nice job on the focus. Beautiful background color with dynamic pose on the bird. The bird does seem like it had too much NR on it.

Hey Gang, thank you all for the crop suggestion, I agree with this suggestion. The image detail has suffered on this image, I really didn't do much NR on the bird itself, it seemed that late evening light didn't give me the detail even though the focus was spot on.

    Thanks again guys!

a fine image Chad. I like the wing position and the BGD colors are sweet. I agree with Artie, a little more face would be nice, but it's a cool capture just as well.

I do like the hovering posture, and the overall exposure looks good. I actually like the space below.
