    EOS-1D Mk IV, 500mm f/4L IS, 1/320, f/5.6, ISO 800
    About 97% of Full Frame (minimal crop due to needed rotation)

    Water color partly due to some buildings on shore.

    Photographed a couple weeks ago in Northern Michigan during one of Chas' Loon Workshops.

    Mike... great light and reflection/color in the water. I like the sharpness and detail of the image. The head angle seems to be a little bit away. I'm not too sure what is going on with the reflection in the eye. Overall I think it is beautiful.

    You sure got the sweet spot for the colour of water and building reflection.

    Nice pose on the loon and I really like the chunky reflection. A unique photo.

    Love the sharpness, the nice details in black and white and the beautiful color and ripple of water. Very beautiful image.

    THe droplet pattern on the face is what has grabbed my attention in this lovely image. Great work, Mike. I hope you print this one.

    Mike, loved the water texture among all the other things. perfect blacks and water drops add a lot. Nice BG to match the eye color.
