Wonderful capture, James. Love the colors, comp and details - sharp where it counts. Thanks for sharing.

James, I like the unique composition. The horseshoe crab adds a lot of interest. The baby spoonbill is adorable. I love the bill and the sharp details of it. I might tone down the URC if it were mine.

James...wow, thats some incredible IQ for that focal length. perfect techs. Loved the tight comp and the shooting angle makes all the difference. Am sure a whole new world opens up at that focal length :-)

James, I like the comp with the spoonbill leaning into the frame. Well exposed, sharp, and I like the level of the shell.

Love the story this capture tells, James! Title is perfect BTW! Great composition and good IQ considering focal lenth, converters, etc. As they say, it's not usually the equipment as much as the knowledge of the person operating it.

I love this pink and blue together and the comp is so unique and provides a wonderful balance, the horizontal shell and the vertical bill. Great details and perfect exp as always. Keep em coming, James, so enjoy seeing your work!

A fine shot James, excellent IQ at that focal length. I agree it's a tad hot in that URC.

excellent details and exposure, looks like you maxed out the dof at f/16. just wish a tad more dof towards the end of the neck...whites look good.

In addition to the positives above I love the color of the water. And yes, a Linear Burn on the brightest whites would work well here (in Norway).
