This was a macro image I took at the botanic gardens, but I did not get the name of the flower. Very cool and interesting looking inner structure to these. This went through several evolutions of hue, saturation & levels adjustments in CS5, Topaz Adjust, Detail, Clean, and PB Oil.

Brendan, I love the filtering, I'm not 100% sold on the comp. The colors are gorgeous and so are the detail enhancements. You have a great eye for art and it shows in your work.

That's a hibiscus, Brendan. What a lovely treatment! I really like the darker vignette around the edges. I like the white details in some of the leaves and would like to see them more on the right side of the image if that's possible.

Brendan, Great use of filters, the texture of the hibiscus is dreamy. Love the colors and the vignette adds to the overall image. Well done.!

Very nice processing, Brendan. Love those gorgeous colors and the effect on the petals. Personally I would have preferred a bit reduced effect on the stigma. Excellent creative vision!

Brendan, great use of filtering - I agree with Indranil about a little less effect on the stigma. It looks like something from The Little Shop of Horrors

    Thanks everyone, much appreciated!
Indranil - I wanted to have more detail to the stigma too, but I had poor IQ on that part in the OP.

Sweet colors and effects Brendan. I have to go with Denise on the comp and suggest lowering the center of interest in the frame a bit if you have the canvas. I like the result of all the filters and each contributes just enough... Nice work!
