Shot this in Florida 2 years ago. I like the fish best in this image.

Very nice effect you achieved, Dave! Awesome base image, composition, and B&W works well.

Nice catch and comp. I'm not loving the filtering on the bill. The black back ground makes this pop nicely. It's nice to see you posting so much in OOTB. I don't think you posted as much when you were a moderator here.

Agree on a great base image and comp. Great eye contact. Like Denise mentioned, a bit less filter on the bill.

I don't mind the bill, Dave, but I think the mouth of the fish gets a little lost in the black BG. If you could outline that in white/gray a bit it might stand out a bit more. I do like the processing and the b/w makes it very dramatic.

Taken the advice given i came up with this....

I added some new filters awhile back which expanded my ability to manipulate and found I was really enjoying it...thats the reason for my increased participation. I was also concentrating more on birds and macro and this gave me a nice break.

Dave, Repost looks great. Glad you added the new filters and have been enjoying them, as I said before- it's nice to see you posting here.

Dave, the b&w and the effect makes it feel like a page from graphic novel! Excellent base image and nice processing.
