This guy is usually on the island rookery where my lens can't reach. I was glad to find it very close the other morning along the lakes edge. Moved slowly until lake provided nice clean BG. It was not very timid, but I missed him taking off later. CS5, added a bit of canvas on lft, cropped some off top and rt, cloned out some tree root, added bit of saturation.

A very nice pose and background. Good exposure and feather detail as well. IMO it could use more room all a round especially at the bottom.

    Keep them coming!

    Very nice Brendan!!

It looks like a great perch so I agree there should be a little more on the bottom if you have it.

    I love their piercing eyes.

Nice shot Brendan. I see a sharpening halo around his head and tummy. I like the repost which gives him more room on the perch.

Great pose and sharpness, I like the repost. Less of a crop was a good suggestion.

IQ and detail look pretty good and I like the pose and exp. Halo still noticeable in the repost but not enough to take away from a fine image!
