    Default Lesser Golden-Backed Woodpecker.Dinopium benghalense.



    Picture was taken in morning, in very cloudy environment. This was moving very fast on tree trunk.Full Frame.Back light is increased and image is sharpened. C&C Welcome.

    Canon EOS 550D, 100-400mm IS USM.
    Av mode,F.6.1/100,ISO:800,Spot metering, White balance: Auto. Hand held.
    Exposure bias: +0.3 stop.

    What a flamboyant bird! Dennis Rodman would be proud :)
    Background is very nice. For this pose, I would crop from the left, a little from the top, and add more below - if you have any canvas there.
    There's a halo around the bird, probably from making the bg lighter.
    Nice specimen - reminds me of my childhood days. And nice effort. Keep them coming.

    Dear Sidharth,
    Thank you very much for comments.This is full frame image.hence there is no chance to crop.I agree because of back light increase there is a halo around bird.

    Nice image here. I would crop some off the left to get the bird out of the center of the frame.
