This started as picture in hazy sun, taken against a dark window. Used Clean, simplfy,
PB Oil, then did some blur work on hte BG and the flower tips, and tonal contrast.........hope you like it.
Somewhere in the PP I blew the red...........

Jay, I think it's really nice. They are like little red lights in the rain. I like the processing and your composition is super. Good job.

Jay, I would hang this on my wall! Great looking image, composition and processing. The blue rainy BG really adds to the feel.

    Kerry, thanks for comments.

Denise, thank you. I was originally going to title it "three's a crowd", since I remember feeling like that flower on the left. And, that would have been way too sentimental, if not Hoakey!

Jay, That would have been a great name, kind of fun! But I do love the night rain title, it really fits well with the image.

Very nice, Jay! I think I'd trim just a slice off the right side to make it closer match the left margin. I don't mind the blown reds at all - they work perfectly here IMO.

Jay, I like the pano crop and the dominant center flower. Effective use of filters!!

Very nice, Jay! I love the composition of threes. The red against the rainy, blue BG is very eye-catching. I there was one thing I'd change it would be to have no merging between the center and right flowers, but that's minor. Very well done!

I agree, very nice composition Jay, and like how you worked the image to get that rain effect. Very creative!

I have to throw my 2 cents worth in... very nice! Great vision to see it, capture it, and make the image.

Wonderful composition and colors Jay! The blown reds don't detract from the image at all. Great processing. It is a wall hanger.
