    Default Green Heron

This one was taken with the light of the rising sun and the help of flash. I wish there was a little more head turn towards me, though I think it is ok and maybe the bright reflection of the mangrove is a little bit destructing. Comments are welcome.

    I like it Lorant!

HA is fine for me. I do not get crazy over those nits. To me if the image has impact then certain things are irrelevant.

Beautiful light, sharp eye and feathers. The creeping with the raised foot is a great bonus!!

    Reflection is also sweet

I agree with Noelle. Love the creeping pose and raised foot, you captured his nature very well.

I, on the other hand, do get crazy about those little details (especially for my own images)...so I will wish aloud for a better HA! And for a looser comp. Otherwise very nice image with lots of sweet light. Bringing the image into PS and adding 10 points to the black channel in "Selective Color" does wonders to this image.

If anything I'd go with a bit more room up top and eliminate some of the blurred reflection below in the process. Lovely light, great angle, love the raised foot and excellent detail. The head angle is fine for me.

Very nice. I too, would like you to give the bird a bit more room. Great use of flash-details? BB? Settings?

Great low angle Lorant, and I like the fishing pose. Good complimentary colours in the BG, and Im going opposite here - take off the bottom, and add to the top. BTW, great flashwork.
