Nice capture of the stilt, Noelle. These are tough to expose having both blacks and whites on the bird. I would like to see more detail in the blacks atop it's head and the HA towards the viewer would have made this a bit better IMO, it seems to be turning away almost.

Exposure looks good from here Noelle, and overall nice and sharp. I do like the raised leg, together with the softer blue of the water. Comp wise, I would maybe take at least half off the bottom, as the reflection is hardly recognizable.

Hey Herb, thanks for the CC. When it comes to a bird with black and white I always expose for the whites and let the blacks do there thing. (Quoted from another BPN member)

I sure wish for a better head turn as the way it is gives a disconnect with the viewer. BUT, it is a far better image of this species than I have (zero). Love the colors and the leg pose.

Nice crop on the repost! Head still angled away though. I do like the pose with the raised foot. Exposure looks good to me, and I like the overall colours.

Like the raised leg pose, Noelle, and nice clean BG. Wonderful looking stilt, I have yet to get a capture of one of these guys. Repost looks great!
