Just joined from Bay Area, CA

I just joined up on the site. Been reading it a bit and lots of great info. I have very little experience so far in the area of bird photography but am definitely interested in learning.

I tried out renting a 300mm f/2.8 lens and threw a 1.7x TC on it to try birding with some quality optics. I posted a picture to the ETL thread, but it seems it is awaiting moderation, so I thought I would say hi here in the meantime.
