    Default Juvie Eagle in flight

I have always liked juvies better than adults because their feather pattern is so beautiful. We have oodles of eagles in Cape Breton. In the winter, a local farmer feeds them chicken carcasses and fish twice a week.
This picture was taken during a feeding session.

You couldn't ask for a much better flight pose Gail! Great detail throughout, and nice eye contact. I like the tight crop. I might tone down the brightest whites on the neck.

I like the tight crop as well but yet still leaving enough room for it to fly into. Excellent flight pose, head angle and the detail.

That's magnificent Gail! Doug's right, it doesn't get much better than that! Beautiful patterning on this juvie indeed. And I like that tight crop too. Awesome head angle. Excellent job!

Excellent all round, great eye contact, lovely details, either its a large criop or he was very low to get this at 189?

Agree that toning down the whites will greatly enhance a very good image.

Gail, you have nailed a great flight posture here, showing an excellent wingspread and fanned tail. Nice and sharp, well exposed on the underwing, and the comp works well.

Here is a repost with the brightest whites toned down. I also increased the blacks a bit

A fine capture Gail, I like the perfect pose and sharpness throughout the eagle's wings.
