Low low angle is perfect for this capture.. Great bokeh, love the weeds on each side, they are framed very nicely.

Super composition Noelle! I love the OOF parent and the way the vegetation frames the birds. Nice low angle too. Well done!

Beautiful use of dof to tell your story. Personally, I'd take a sliver off the bottom. Did you use flash here? THe light is so nice and even.

I love the image as is, but thinking about how a vertical will look!

No flash here Grace, I never use one for nature, I was considering getting the better beamer but I am afraid it will sit in my camera case with the rest of the unused gadgets. I did however accentuate the catch light as I always do.

    Thanks for the compliments

Thanks for the suggestion, I like the grasses in this one and I feel they help tell mom's part of the story.

    Thanks for the compliment!

Super low perspective Noelle, and I like the walking pose with the slightly raised leg. The chick is nicely framed between the grasses.

Another wonderful portrait of a young'un from you, Noelle. Love the OOF mom in back, shadowing it. And its lifted foot as it takes a step away from her in its adventure. Beautiful job.

Another wonderfully composed shot, Noelle. Well seen, and love the low angle, softness and gentle feel to this image/story. Great title too. Nicely done!

I like this one a lot Noelle. Like it's been said all ready, comp, low angle, vegetation, and great light.
    Very very nice...
