    Default Indian Roller

It is rare to find birds these days who are not afraid of us. This one was one exception. He was in no mood to stop giving us poses. I took as many as I could and this one turns out to be the best of the lot so far.

Very nice, Somak. Gorgeous bird with tons of sharp details. Looks like you had nice soft light to work with. BG is excellent and complements this bird so well.
Do you have a little more room below and to the left?
If anything I wish the head was turned ever so slightly toward us.
    Lovely image, TFS.

Lovely textures and complimentary colors of bird and BG. Little bit of noise in the feathers on the chest area. The shooting angle looks a little steep but still small enough to make it work!

Rollers have such amazing colours, and you have exposed them nicely here. The HA is as close as perfect you could get, and I like the colour of the BG. I agree, there is a hint of noise visible on the chest feathers.

Beautiful subject (and soft colours!), nice perch, and I like the BG. I wish for a slightly better HA, and a looser composition. Some fill-flash would have helped here IMO.
