Wow! This is a great behavior shot, Noelle! Amazing soft light and rich color. Definitely bug in - your eye follows the duckings line of site right to it. I like the space you give the duckling in the comp too. Another one for your book!![]()
Adorable, Noelle! GOTTA keep the bug in, it makes the shot!
Bug in for sure. The exposure and dof are perfect for the little one and grass. This could only be better
if the bug was as sharp as the duckling. Very good image.

Love the concentration of the duckling. Lovely soft light, and I like the surrounding grasses. The bug must obviously stay, but I would take a little off the bottom.
Great capture, the bug stays!
If you did run nr on the bg did you mask the bug though it does look as though it might be in the sharp field.
Perhaps a little off the bottom
Bug definitely in, please.
Lovely moment captured. +1 to a crop from the bottom.

nice environment and a good eye contact with the duckling, I would go vert for this

What a wonderful image og a young duckling exploring a new world!!
Bug in, but like this...if you don't mind such fiddling with images:
I prefer the vertical crop.
Personally, I think that moving the bug is almost as bad as moving a bird between images as discussed in here:

IMO this is a false representation of the truth and it can be a very slippery slope.
Just my opinion...![]()
Beautiful moment. Love the bug too...
