Loved the wild feathers and coloring on these coot chicks. Took this back in April at the local lake. CS5, Topaz Detail, toned down BG, touched up eyes, cleaned up some spots.

Love the coloring as well, wow these are far from cute

Just curious about how much you cropped these from original?

    oh mannnnn.... they are ugly

I am wishing for more space around them as they look a bit cramped.

You have captured a sweet moment between siblings

Brendan, striking colours on the youngsters, and agree, a little more space on either side will work.

Thanks guys for the feedback, much appreciated.
They are pretty ugly! To see their sweet interactions with eachother and mama were priceless. Chad, yes, this was a big crop, thus lost some IQ, but wanted to highlight their faces. Would love to get a 500 or 600 some day. Here's the repost with some more space.

Cute and colorful but with the huge crop image quality is very poor at best.

Thanks Artie, the share factor overtook my better judgment on doing such a big crop! I'm going to take this over to the OOTB forum and have some fun with it.

Artie, I think it works better as a photo-art treatment. Here's the link:
