    Default Black Brant

Finally, we had a bit of better light here in the Pacific Northwest---soon to be followed by a snow storm tonight. LOL!
This image was taken today at Fort Flagler on Marrowstone Island, Washington.

Lovely image here Bonnie. Nice low angle on this bird and it looks as if you've caught his/her eye.

Congrats on a lovely, simply designed, excellent portrait. The only thing that bugs me is the single raised feather on the lower back. Exceptionally sharp.

    later and love, artie

Nice image, Bonnie. I would maybe crop a bit off the bottom so he isn't so centered.

Very nice capture. The blacks look a bit washed out to me. Here's an alternate version to consider -- I clipped the feather as per Artie's suggestion but I actually don't mind the feather as it was. Applied an "S" curve and increased the saturation some.

Excellent Bonnie. A species I'm really needing to photograph :)
