    Default Bald eagle close fly-by

For me, this was a very rare extremely close fly by and is about 90% of full frame. Canon 500MM F4 and 1.4 handheld at F8, ISO 800, a minor (maybe 3 inches on eagle) frame clipping of one wing feather required digital work.

The details must look great at full resolution. Another great image, Jeff. Maybe you could add some more canvas at the top.

    Great photo!
good depth of field, perfect colors including the white treatment.
some space above is welcome - simple clone stamp will work fine for the job.

Stunning image Jeff and excellent exposure and flight pose. I agree a little canvas at the top would strengthen this gorgeous capture.

Jeff, just a bit more room on top, as mentioned, and you have a big winner.

    I'm jealous ;)
