    Default Saltmarsh Sharp-tailed Sparrow

I made this image over the summer in Rhode Island. I just reprocessed the photo for a different composition and thought I would post it. Hope you all like it.

Very nice image and composition Josh, would like to see the bird's bill in front of the reed not in the back... I would also kick up the contrast a wee bit for my taste...:D

    Gus...

Second Gus comment on the beak position and on the slight contrast boost on the bird itself.

Josh I definitely agree with the previous two comments. Do you have any images where the bill is in front of the reed?

Nits accepted, it is still a very nice image. Love the BG.

Nice pose and BG. Good angle and light. Shame about his beak behind the reed.

I love these types on images Josh. Great BG and bird. Exposure looks good. Two this to improve the image. Take this picture but wait for him to put that beak in front of or better yet not interesting the branch. As noted, this was the only one you got.

The other is move the bird vertically up in the frame using a Rule of Thirds placement of the bird in the upper left power point.
