    Howdy and welcome. What is your first name?

    Sharp with a very nice EXP and pose. And a sweet BKGR. You could improve it by lightening the areas of the bird and the perch that are in shadow....

    Did you set up this perch? Either way, try to avoid filtered light.

    The biggest problem is that the bird's head is turned slightly away from the viewer.

    This is an excellent shot. Artie has covered it well. In addition to that, my personal preference would be to have a little more room below. I just feel that this is one those shots where bird bang in the center will work well.

    I have to agree on the more space below. Because the bird is below the stick, I would rather see more space below and less on top. I really like the way both feet are facing the viewer. Although the bird's head is not angled toward the viewer, it works for me in this case b/c he appears to be gazing at something he finds interesting. Your BG is lovely. Altogether a nice capture.
