    Everything happened so quickly. Sure wish I have stopped down even more, moved back or taken out the TC, to get the ibis more in focus.
    Ibis repositioned itself and trying to bully the tern.

    Troy,
    The DOF does not bother me. The zone of focus is right where it needs to be, right where it matters.

    Compelling series, sharp and well exposed.

    IMO more room left and right would (mostly left) would make this an even stronger image.

    I am afraid the lack of DOF weakens this image for me. Much prefer the first post in this series.

    Interesting in this image is the fact we can see the wound from the lost wing...You must have been very close to get this shallow DOF....Love the series...Still the first one for me too!

    I much prefer the first too. But love the wet rag doll look of the tern in this one.

    Troy, the tern looks helpless and desperate in this image which to me is so powerful!
