    If you want to know where the babies are, just follow the Oyster Catcher caring and Oyster.
    The only time they carry food is when they take it to feed their babies.

    WOW! I have never seen a head on shot of an oyster catcher before. Love that you can see both eyes. Great background. I love the oyster in the mouth and the action tells a story.

    James:

    Nice techs and I really like the alignment of the elements here, with good separation of the oyster from the body, both eyes clearly visible, full downstroke.

    This is the first OC I have seen carrying one around, and appreciate the natural history lesson!

    Amazing image, James. Superb job focussing. Wing position, food, the fact that the food doesn't merge with the feet, the eye contact, the bg -- all top notch.
