    I am 20 minutes late for a trip of two weeks. Probably my last post for a while.
    This is another pelican lunch image. Rushed. The most striking thinga bout this is the blood vessels showing through the translucent pouch. I have to go back to that place soon.

    Like the comp. and details in the pouch. I think the bright BG takes away from the image. It makes it hard for the eye to settle on the subject.

    A bit too tight. Bill pouch, fish, and veins very nice. Upper dark area not so great.... It looks as if you added the eye highlight....

    So what's the mystery? Where are you headed?
