    Hey Allen,
I'd probably smooth out the diagonal lighter area in the BG.....but this turned out great! Sweet Bg, pose, and perch too!

Hi Allen. You really nailed this one! Awesome pose, light, color, and overall sharpness. I would agree with Roman's suggestion about blending the background leaf a bit more - but this is just a minor tweak on a very strong image.

Very nice pose and colors, good DOF. I like the perch. Agree about the diagonal area in the Bg, but this is a very good image. Well done!

Great job on this one, Allen! I know last year you were working hard to get a good shot of this species and I don't think you can do much better than this. The repost definitely looks better but it seems a bit dark to me so I think that increasing the overall brightness will finish this one off. Well done!

Hi Allen, great image. The IQ seems much better than your former image of this species. Great work on the RP. I might consider selectively increasing the contrast on the head and thorax a bit, to balance it more with that great colored abdomen.

That repost is awesome, Allen! Great pose and the BG now matches the beauty of the insect.

Excellent image, I love the colours and the pose. I would be curious to see the original with the highlights in the eyes - were they really obtrusive? I have to admit I sometimes remove them myself but I often ask myself why as they are a natural feature in sunlight anyway, I suppose it is the eternal desire to keep on improving images, ( it is just that sometimes I wonder why we need to improve on natural features).
