A classic stare from the chicks, and just love how they are peering to see out. They look pretty big already, and all three are nicely framed around the ground. You get to see and capture parent and chicks, and I dont have a single owl in my files.

Lovely sighting...I wonder if some flash would have worked her to bring out more color in the 2 on the left!

Very cute...I love the two of them peeking out of the cavity - they really are checking you out!! I like the square crop, well exposed and sharp as posted. I would negate the bluish cast on the plumage that was caused by the shade.

The image put a smile on my face.....

Robert, very nice frame. One in full view and the other two peering in with their eyes not obstructed....excellent capture. Agree with Daniel that a WB adjustment will make it even better. good call on stopping down. You must've been really close.

Would have loved to be there to capture this one, Robert. Very cute moment, love those eyes. Like how you framed it with the habitat, nice exposure, and agree with Daniel regarding removing blue color cast. Well done!

All good stuff above especially by Dan. I would not, however, crop from the bottom.

In addition to taking the BLUE out, I lightened the shadowed birds and some of the shadows by pulling down the BLUE curve and pulling up the RGB curve and then painting away what I wanted with Hide All Layer Mask (as taught to me by Denise Ippolito). All as detailed in Digital Basics.
