Another image from my WF Bee-eater series, in Botswana.
The bg is the Okavango River. Would have wished for a better bg.

The three "bee-eaters" are so perfectly posed that the background matters little. It is not distracting at all, and the eye ignores it.

Fantastic image with all three having a something in their beaks!

Simply superb. I love pictures of birds in three's. The position of the birds balances beautifully with the lower bird facing the top two birds.
Love the little thorns on the branch and the BG is fine. Love it!
Enquiring minds want to know why you used an F 18 aperture? You were lucky to get a sharp picture of 3 birds at 1/320!!

Hi Arno, I like the different positions of all three BE's, and all with good HA's. I quite like the water BG, and a bonus with each one with a catch. When have I never seen a BE without anything in their beaks.

Wow!!! Great shot. Love that all three birds have bugs in their mouths. Great background as it really brings out the birds. Very well done.

Thanks for the kind comments,Gail. Greatly appreciated.
I was shooting different groups of these birds perching in trees ,often perching in different planes. To ensure DOF in most cases I pushed the f stop higher ( in this case f/18 ) ,albeit risking a slower ss.Fortunately the slow ss was still ok with this image.
    regards,

    Arno

Wow, three birds in one frame. Sharp and I love how everyone has a food in his/her beak. I don't mind the background, it complements the birds' colors, IMHO.

What a cool frame! Great color, perfect composition, good eye contact from all 3 birds, and of course the 3 meals. I might sharpen the bottom bird just a little. Nicely captured!
