    This is a male American goldfinch in winter plumage. The image was taken recently at a feeder/perch setup at my home. 40D, 500 f/4 + 1.4X, 1/200, f/8, ISO 400. I cloned a few little spots off the beak and cropped for composition. Comments are welcome.
