    Very nice, Jim. I love the pose and raised foot, not to mention the red eye. Nicely exposed and composed. I like this better than the b&w version.

    Nice exposure and like Bill said the stepping is great! I would like to see more on the bottom and a tad less on the top, give him some room to step into.

    As the water was kind of scummy and his foot actually came to rest on the grass exactly where it's headed now, I decided to forgo the scum at the bottom :)

    Jim I was going to say it's a bit tight in the frame but then I saw your post about the scummy water I understand your reason for this comp. Really like the intense concentration and that red eye draws you right in.

    Jim, loved this one. nice in-habitat shot with the stealthy pose and raised foot. Excellent comp. and exposure.

    Since it is an early morning shot, will a warmer WB create more impact?

    I got a similar one of yellow crowned over the weekend. will post it.
