    Default in the thick of it juvenile dipper

    took this shot the other week,had to crouch down in middle of river,this bird had only fledged a couple of days,and was all ready hunting for food in the rough water.cannon 7d,400mm cannon prime lens,hand held,f6.3,1/2500 sec,iso 400,-1 ev.comments good or bad.thanks.small crop,sharpen,removed some specs of water.photo shop.

    Your low angle has paid off here, and I like the flying droplets. Being close, you had enough ss to create more DOF, but it is sharp where it counts.

    Cool image :)

    Love the water drops.

    That upward erupting little wavelet in the center distracts a little to my eyes at least.

    I might try and open the shadows just a bit?

    Ok I'm going to go against the grain on this one.. I love the image (other than the water drops) and I may change my mind on this assumption... wonder what it would look like without the drops!

    thanks everybody for your comments,yes Stuart,you are right about ss,but I did not check,too busy trying to get the shot,and was trying to balance crouched in middle of river.
