Lovely pose, eye contact and shooting angle. IQ suffered from what looks to me as either oversharpening and/or a serious crop.

Herb, agree with Ofer. Excellent pose, colors, exp. and BG. Vertical might be better IMO.

Nice pose, perch, eye contact and background. Looks a bit over sharpened.

Ofer could you please explain how/where you see that IQ has suffered here? It would help me to learn what to look for. In this particular image, I am not seing it.

Herb, Nice job on these fast moving birds. I like the pose, and the BG colors complement the bird well.

I personally don't see that IQ is off. I do see a little bit of noise.
I am fairly new so I am waiting to here Ofer's response to Marina's post.

Nice BG ad even light...IQ not perfect but not terrible...Love the complimentary colors of bird and BG!

Hi Marina, I guess the best way I can describe it is that it doesn't look natural. If you look at a bird close enough so it will be so big - you will be able to see much more fine detail. In here it looks way oversharpened, noisy and with little fine detail IMHO.

I like the inquisitive pose, perch, and BG. Subject is rather big in the frame IMO. I see what Ofer refer's to...kinda like the detail is "coarse" rather than "fine".
