    Hi Dan,
    Really like this shot. Great eye contact and head angle, and the background is great and really compliments the sparrow. The sparrow seems a bit dark to me, and I'd like to see more room in front of the bird. I did a quick re-crop and a levels adjustment to lighten the sparrow a bit. What do you think?

    Hi Dan, Gary's repost hit the nail on the head for me, as my first thoughts were to lighten the bird, clone out the foliage bits, and lose the negative space on the right. Had that bg space been on the left, it would be pretty ok but it does nothing for the image on the right there and it takes up one third of the frame. I might not have gone as bright on the bird but that's just me. You made a very nice capture of the sparrow - good head angle, nice sharp eye, and lovely background. The bg is a little bright but would be easy to tone down. Well done.
