This cub was photographed in the Tower area of Yellowstone NP.

Canon 40D, Canon 300mm f/4 at f/4, ISO 500, 1/400 sec. Midday, moderate cropping, removed some vegetation going up to the cub's mouth and some hunks of dirt at various places on the cub.

    C&C welcome.

Great detail in the fur, I like the raised foot and chuteness. I feel that composition is slightly tight and could do with a bit more room ESP at the bottom. TFS

Thanks for commenting Vivaldo. I agree regarding it being a bit tight. Unfortunately, there was no more room at the bottom. It was walking pretty fast. Too bad I didn't have a 100-400mm on my camera.

room at the bottom noted...very cute cub here Jim!

something is bugging me about the front-most claw/foot? the toes seem disproportionately aligned...did you perhaps do some cloning or touching up there as well? :2

Hi Morkel. No, I didn't touch the cub's paw.

Hi Jim , what a great image of this little guy. Nice pose, superb detail and love the surrounding vegetation. More space has been mentioned but if possible positioning the cub to the left might help.
