    Default White-fronted Bee-eater with dragonfly

    Shot fron the river bank,Okavango River,Botswana.
    These bee-eaters make holes in the river banks for their nests.
    They hawk insects while flying over the water and then alight on trees before taking the food to the nests.
    The bg is the river.
    Cropped on all sides and removed some distractin twigs.

    Excellent image! Looks like light was a bit harsh but still a lovely image.

    Great pose and the prey is a big plus. Nice that the entire bird is in the plane of focus (good choice of aperture).

    Super pose Arno, and glad that we can see the full dragonfly in his beak. You certainly covered the DOF nicely.

    Thank you all for the kind comments.
    Looking at the image again I think I should have adjusted brightness,since it looks a little bright /harsh.
    Tend to agree with Ofer.
