    this is a picture i took a few weeks ago at butterfly world. i've been watching the thread below and i have enjoyed the discussion in whether to trash fabs' GBH photo or fix it. i will not get into it about that because i think every situation will warrant a different decision, but here's an example i think turned out to be positive.

    i know i posted this already, but i am using it just to show what you can do with something you would initially think is trash. and i know my abilities with editing are limited!!:D

    You did a good job on the bird but for my taste the BG is a little loud.

    We always save everything...this way we can go back to that moment in time and reflect on our experiences and apply our new insight so that we can continue our trek in becoming better and start making photos instead of just taking them...:):D:cool:

    Good save Harold !!!! Looks Excellent Might consider Selecting the bird and increasing contrast a tad then inverting and lower sat on bg Should make hummer stand out even better Getting good Harold !!!!
