    Taken in 2009 at the same spot I managed to take picture of one on the nest.
    I heard from a farmer family who lives close by that originally they had two chicks, but the chicks dissappeared. (Predation?)

    Like the setting and the rich colors but the heads of both birds are angled away from us....

    Despite the fact that both heads are angled slightly away, I really like this SHC couple in this field of flowers. Your colors are rich, details good. I would like to see slightly more room all around.

    still a nice image how about removing the circular halo above upper cranes neck?

    great capture of this species in habitat, great colots. I agree with Artie that it would have been nicer with the birds angled towards us,looks like it was a challange to get the 2nd bird in focus too as you were alreadt at f/10 and running out of dof.
