Default White-tailed kite (juvenile) with prey

Here is an image from last year, the kites are extremely difficult to approach in this area. This shot was taken in June. Doug Brown and I had an opportunity to photograph these species again later in the layer, one of my fav. raptors!

Fantastic Arash, just love the dark BG and sharp bird. Catch adds nicely and also like the wing position.

WOW!! I like this a lot...The pose and detail are fantastic. Really pops from the BG. Love the eye and nice to see the detail in the catch!

Hi Arash. I love the wings position and contact eye. I'd like a little more canvas at the bottom of the frame. Did you use flash? I find the face a bit overexposed. The rest of plumage have good detail. Good work

Thanks Diego flash is not usable for hand hold flight photography. The exposure is just fine check the histogram.

EXP including the face is perfect. Love everything about this exceptional image especially the furry thing and the perfect head turn and the raised wings.

Superb capture of the wingspan here. Well exposed, sharp, and stands out nicely against the darker BG. His catch a bonus.
